Who is Temple Crowd?

A varied group of Judean men and women in ankle-length undyed wool tunics, striped mantles, woven head-cloths, and forward-drawn veils. Their palette is dust brown, ivory, muted ochre, and faded olive; leather sandals, prayerful folded hands, and humble bowed silhouettes distinguish them from the white-robed priest.

Featured in 1 Bible Heroes storybook, first appearing in Luke 1:5-25.
