About Pharaoh's Court
The royal complex of the king of Egypt — throne hall, audience courts, granary administration, household compounds for senior officials like Potiphar, and the prison attached to the captain of the guard. Joseph is sold into Potiphar's household, falsely accused and thrown into the king's prison, and finally summoned from the dungeon to the throne room to interpret Pharaoh's dreams (Genesis 39-41). Years later his brothers come down for grain and stand before him in the same court without recognizing him.
