Who is Other Women?
Several adult Galilean women of varied heights wear ankle-length undyed linen tunics, muted ochre and olive wool mantles drawn over dark hair, and plain leather sandals. Their unadorned silhouettes carry small alabaster jars and woven spice baskets; subdued Second Temple Jewish dress distinguishes them from the single crimson-mantled woman of Galilee.
