Who is Simon?

A sturdy middle-aged Jewish fisherman with wind-tousled dark hair, a thick short beard, and an expressive weathered face. He wears an undyed linen tunic under a heavier blue-gray wool mantle, a simple leather belt, and worn sandals. His practical coastal-worker silhouette includes a small rolled cloak and no formal headwear.
