Then the sons die too, leaving the mother Naomi and her foreign daughters-in-law as widows in a strange land. Naomi decides to go home. She tells the young women to stay with their families. Orpah turns back. But Ruth speaks the loyalest words in the Old Testament: "Where you go, I will go."
