This page explains, in plain language, what each BibleHeroes purchase lets you do. It summarizes Section 4 of our Terms of Service, which is the binding version. If something you have in mind isn’t covered here, ask us at contact@bibleheroes.kids. We say yes to most ministry requests.

Family license

Every single storybook, the Christmas Collection and the Complete Library come with a family license. It covers one household, or one teacher using it with their own class.

You can

  • Read the stories on any of your own devices.
  • Print copies for your family, or for the children in your own class.
  • Keep a backup copy.

You can’t

  • Share the files with other families, teachers or classes.
  • Use them across several classes, a parish program or a pageant. That needs a group license.

Group license (churches & schools)

The Christmas Program Pack and the Parish License come with a group license. It covers one parish, congregation or school: all of its staff, catechists, teachers and volunteers, and the children and families in its programs.

You can

  • Print as many copies as your classes, Sunday school, Advent program, pageant, VBS or sacramental prep need.
  • Send printed copies home with the children in your programs.
  • Project or screen-share the stories during class, worship and parish events.
  • Share the files with your own leaders and teachers through internal channels, such as email or a staff-only drive.

You can’t

  • Sell copies, or charge for them beyond the cost of printing.
  • Share the files outside your parish or school, including with other parishes in your diocese. A multi-site license covers that.
  • Post the files on a public website, social media, or a drive anyone can open, or send them home digitally to families.
  • Livestream or record readings for public broadcast without asking us first (we usually say yes).

How long it lasts

  • Family license: forever. Your purchase is yours to keep.
  • Christmas Program Pack: printing, projection and sharing are covered through January 6, 2027. Copies you’ve already handed out can be kept.
  • Parish License: twelve months from purchase, renewable each year. If you don’t renew, copies you’ve already printed can be kept, but new printing, projection and sharing stop.

Always off-limits

  • Removing or changing copyright notices or attribution.
  • Using the stories or illustrations to train machine-learning models.
  • Making derivative works for commercial purposes without our written permission.

Dioceses and multi-site ministries

If you serve several parishes, schools or sites, we’ll set up one license and one invoice for all of them. Write to contact@bibleheroes.kids.
