This Privacy Policy explains what information Bible Heroes (“BibleHeroes”), operated by Cocowah (Toronto, Canada), collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible — only what is needed to deliver the comics you purchase.

1. Information We Collect

• Order details — email address, name (optional), and the comics you purchased.
• Payment data — billing details are collected and held by Stripe; we receive only a transaction reference and the amount paid.
• Account data — if you create an account, your email and a securely hashed password.
• Technical data — basic server logs (IP address, user agent, request timestamps) for security and reliability.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Purchases are made by parents, guardians, or other responsible adults. We do not run behavioural advertising and we do not build profiles of minors.

3. Children & COPPA

Our comics are made for children but our Service is directed at the adult who buys and manages access. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without the consent of a parent or guardian, contact contact@bibleheroes.kids and we will delete it.

4. How We Use Information

• To fulfil your order and grant access to the comics you bought.
• To send transactional email such as receipts and download links.
• To protect the Service from fraud and abuse.
• To comply with our legal obligations.

5. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly-necessary cookies (for example, a cart identifier and a login session). We do not use third-party advertising cookies. Any analytics cookies, if added in future, will be disclosed in this section first.

6. Service Providers

• Stripe — payment processing.
• Sanity — hosted editorial content management.
• Hosting / CDN — running the website and delivering downloads.

These providers may process personal data on our behalf, under contractual confidentiality and security obligations.

7. Data Retention

Order and account data are kept for as long as your account is active and afterwards as required for tax, accounting or fraud-prevention purposes. Server logs are kept for a short rolling window.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. To exercise these rights, email contact@bibleheroes.kids.

9. International Transfers

Our service providers may process data in countries other than your own. Where required by law, we rely on appropriate safeguards to protect that data.

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at-rest password hashing. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.
